We are looking for a dynamic individual to grow our retail national account business. Ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial spirit and must have experience and relationships calling on major Co-ops and Hardware Distribution. Candidates should reside in Midwest, preferably Illinois with ability to travel extensively for Trade Shows, Dealer Presentations, Manufacturer visits and Headquarters visits. Experience within the hardware and/or home products channels are a big plus. This role will telecommute from home.

Responsibilities

Grow and maintain multiple relationships with Manufacturers and Accounts, developing business

Responsible for identifying opportunities and market analysis then working with Manufacturers to prepare and make presentations.

Ability to follow up on many sales opportunities simultaneously

Navigate effectively with complete understanding of supply chain dynamics and act on opportunities to sell vertically

Work closely with our team to share insights and communicate with all stakeholders at a very fast pace

Manage territory travel to optimize interaction with accounts and budget

Skills

Strong business development sales experience to sell broadly across categories and divisions of national accounts

Proficient in the use of internal resources

Strong Communication skills and proficiency in selling to close

Self-motivated, pro-active, results-oriented professional with an ability to work independently and as a strong team player

Proficient in MS office products: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Experience

Bachelor Degree, Business Sales, or similar

12+ yrs. of Hardware/Home Channel industry sales experience
